While we're great at doing the work, the best medicine is prevention! Dr. Singla grew up in small-town Orwigsburg, PA, then made the leap to NYC on a Presidential Honors Scholarship to attend NYU. She earned her dental degree from Temple University—where she was class president, VP of the American Association of Women Dentists, and still somehow managed to sleep—and completed her residency at Sacred Heart Hospital, gaining experience in everything from pediatrics to implants and Invisalign.Now back in Pennsylvania with her husband, Moki, and their two young kids, life is a joyful whirlwind of school drop-offs and snack negotiations. She commutes to New York regularly to care for the community that helped shape her career. Patients love her mix of warmth, wit, and real-world understanding—because she knows life’s busy, and your dental care should make it easier, not harder.
Sumi Jampana DDS
Dr. Sumi Jampana brings a little Texas charm and a lot of NYC energy to every smile he treats. Now a proud Midtown Manhattan resident, he lives with his husband, Ryan, their dog Cooper, and cat Jax—a lively, four-legged household he wouldn’t trade for anything.A self-proclaimed food aficionado and live theater lover, Dr. Jampana spends his free time tracking down the city’s best bites and avoiding cold weather, cardio, and Twizzlers at all costs. Meet Madelyn, our Dental Hygienist! Madelyn grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with a passion for dentistry since the age of 5. Madelyn worked as a Dental Assistant while she furthered her education in Dental Hygiene. In 2013 she graduated from Hostos Community College with the President’s Award of Excellence from the Dental Hygiene Association of the City of New York for professional leadership and guidance of her Hygiene class. Madelyn enjoys expanding her skills through continuing education with certifications in areas such as Local Anesthesia, Laser Therapy Certified, Botox, and Preventative Healthcare.Madelyn prides herself on creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for her patients with gentle hands and an artistic thorough approach. She is determined in building long-term relationships with patients based on trust, education, and empathy. Madelyn’s favorite floss is CocoFloss!

What is the Admin Fee?
Starting on 5/8/25, we will be charging a $150 annual patient fee to cover services not paid by your insurance. These include verifying benefits, submitting pre-determinations, insurance claim submission, followup for denials, and coordination with the insurance carrier to get claims paid.It is NOT a concierge fee and is NOT for medical services.This fee does NOT apply to our Line Up Dental membership patients (formerly FlossClub).
Why is there an Admin Fee?
This fee helps us continue working with your insurance company on your behalf—something that’s become increasingly complex and time-consuming.
Over the past few years, insurance denials have become more frequent and less transparent. The amount of time and staffing required to handle these hurdles has increased significantly.In addition, the costs of running a high-quality dental practice—especially for supplies, materials, and equipment—have risen sharply. These increases affect everything from gloves and sterilization products to lab fees and technology used during your visit.While many dental practices are choosing to drop insurance plans entirely or sell to private equity firms and Dental Service Organizations (DSOs), we remain committed to staying an independent private practice and remaining in-network with your insurance carrier. We believe this independence allows us to provide more personalized, patient-first care—without the pressure of corporate or profit-driven influences.This fee helps cover both the administrative and operational costs of running a quality-driven practice, allowing us to focus more of our energy on your care—not paperwork.

This fee is NOT required to be a patient of the practice, but there will be some changes for those that opt-out. Nothing will change during the month of May. But starting on June 1, 2025, patients who have not opted into the plan will be responsible for the full contracted insurance fees of care at the time of service. This will include procedures as well as hygiene visits. We will still submit claims on your behalf and you will get reimbursed directly.This fee helps support delays in payments and frequent denials that are all too common in this increasingly complex insurance environment.Thank you for your continued trust in us. Admin Fee Terms of Service
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By completing this payment, you ("Patient") acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following terms and conditions (this “Agreement”) regarding the Annual Administrative Fee (“Admin Fee”) for services provided by Ragini Singla DMD (the “Practice”). Full details are available at www.singladmd.com/adminfee.
ADMINISTRATIVE FEE & COVERED SUPPORT SERVICES
The Admin Fee is $150 annually per patient, with a maximum of $250 per household, effective as of the date of payment.This fee is not for clinical care or treatment, but supports the administrative time, labor, and resources involved in coordinating with dental insurance providers. These services include:
Insurance benefit verification and eligibility checks
Pre-authorizations for proposed treatment
Claims submission and routine follow-up
Appeals and denial management
Patient advocacy and insurance clarification
Coordination of emergency calls and medical record requests
Access to upcoming patient portal features
10% discount on all non-covered services (e.g., whitening, Invisalign)
ENFORCEMENT & PAYMENT TERMS
Beginning June 1, 2025, patients who have not paid the Admin Fee will be responsible for the full insurance rate at the time of service.
While we will still submit your insurance claims, we will no longer be able to manage appeals, denials, or follow-up unless the Admin Fee has been paid.
The Admin Fee is non-refundable once administrative services have been rendered.
This is an optional service — you are not required to pay the Admin Fee to continue receiving care.
You may cancel at any time; cancellation will apply to future administrative support and renewals.
If the Admin Fee is renewed annually, you will be notified several days in advance of any subsequent charges.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
This is not an insurance plan and is not intended to replace dental insurance.
The Admin Fee is assessed annually and may be subject to change in future years. Notice of changes will be posted on the Practice website.
The fee is per patient but capped for immediate family members within the same household.
The Practice reserves the right to modify the services covered by the Admin Fee with appropriate notice.
